Individual & ensemble (I&E) competitions have a rich history among rudimental drummers. Today the best-known I&E contests are DCI, DCA, and PAS. But several other organizations have hosted national individuals competitions over the years.

Most innovations in drumming usually come from individual performers before being attempted by full-size drum lines. These competitions are an important part of our history, and it’s valuable to keep a record of the performers in these historic I&E contests.

A very special thanks must be given to Rick Beckham. He spent years archiving the data from various competitions, and this information used to be listed on his site, The Rudimental Webpage. Due to unfortunate circumstances, he was no longer able to keep the archives going, and he has entrusted them to RudimentalUniversity.com to keep the information available and updated.

If you notice any errors or omissions or you have the results from any contests not listed, please send a message through the Contact page.
